I got bored with the FPP link, but Dr-Baa's link (wait for thirty seconds in when she furrows her brows in concentration) made me chortle. posted by zoomorphic at 6:56 AM on June 20, 2008
Cute, maybe but my border collie is smarter. posted by dasheekeejones at 8:57 AM on June 20, 2008
And yea they're all cute until they start wiping poo on themselves, the wall, the crib, you, the dog.... posted by dasheekeejones at 8:58 AM on June 20, 2008
Your kids are only cute to you. I bet you also think it's adorable to have them record a message for your answering machine? posted by explosion at 10:03 AM on June 20, 2008

A prodigy playing an adagio for a change, that's nice. Poor thing has to karate chop with the second knuckle of her pinky, but she'll grow into it, hopefully.
miss lynnster's link has this disturbing sidebar, I'll be waiting for the FPP followup. posted by StickyCarpet at 10:50 AM on June 20, 2008
please. don't raise your kids to be hipsters. posted by gnutron at 11:05 AM on June 20, 2008
I believe that children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Hmm. Remember, the dark overlords of our military-industrial-consumer driven freak show of a world used to be cute little children as well. So watch out future!! posted by Seymour Zamboni at 11:47 AM on June 20, 2008

My parents lent me a video camera when my first son was born. Before long, I figured out that about 30 seconds of video once a month is enough to commemorate a kid's growing and cuteness; anything longer than that, and even with my own kids (whom I dote on absolutely) it gets too boring to ever consider watching again. posted by not that girl at 4:57 PM on June 22, 2008
