$750 is a bit steep but that kit at Amazon to make your own for $20 is pretty tempting. posted by GavinR at 9:02 PM on June 20, 2008
oh man, it's like being trapped in an edward gorey print. check out their website -- their installation stuff is equally spooky. posted by puckish at 9:05 PM on June 20, 2008

I'm torn, Bellman. I am reassured to know I was not imagining having seen these here, before...and simultaneously disappointed to have it called out as a repost. I mean, it was a different series of globes, wasn't it?
The medium remains as fantastic as ever and I truly enjoyed being reminded of them. posted by squasha at 9:00 AM on June 21, 2008
They are amazing and fantastic and I loved them last time too -- but they are the same globes, I'm afraid. Same series, as far as I can tell. Nothing wrong with the post, really. I've never felt doubles more than a year apart were that big a deal (though I've been told by the mods I'm wrong). As much as anything I wanted to point it out for people who, like me (and you), were having deja vu. posted by The Bellman at 1:21 PM on June 21, 2008
Heh. Well, then, I'll simply thank you for the reassurance about my brain function. posted by squasha at 4:53 PM on June 23, 2008
