This dog is not suffering and this is how they choose to spend their money. There are lots of people who do wait far too long to euthanize their pets but this is not one of those cases.

That dog's not trying hard enough . Woah. That is just... uh... somewhere halfway in between a really good special effects scene from a horror movie and the cutest most heartwarming thing ever. GYOMAB Though I am reminded fondly of my days on the farm and the plucky calf who, after losing the use of one of his hind legs, we named Tripod. Abandoned by his mother, the friendly little dude would eagerly gallump towards me, his lovely long-lashed eyes fixed to the warm bucket of milk replacement that I mixed and fed to him everyday, first in a Brobdingnagian baby bottle and then, after many wacky and messy attempts, from the pail itself. Do not speak of a legless dog that moves like a snake, because this makes me think of a running gag in My Name is Earl (jape about a ferret, a beast unknown to most in Camden County, which they did not actually show on screen unless I am mis-rembering because I love subtle.) At one point, Patty the day-time hooker was surprised by it, in the back seat of an auto. And now I have successfully gotten the image of little Hope, and faceless cats, and hairless rats with only one leg out of my tortured mind.

Humans purposely domesticated dogs, and we have a responsibility to take care of them. I thought this was a great article. Very heartwarming. I particularly liked the video of Hope as a baby, because it showed how great animals' spirits are. They don't feel sorry for themselves, they just do what they have to. Very touching.
