Ambigrams are words or phrases that can be read in more than one way or from more than a single vantage point, most commonly right-side-up and upside-down. Given a word or symmetrically spaced phrase or sentence Ambigram.Matic will generate text that can be read in either direction

My first name (Jordan) is exceptionally easy for this kind of thing:

A capital J to a rounded n
A tailed o to an a with a shortened stem
A curlicue r to a slightly open d

It made things kind of boring when my classmates discovered ambigrams and spent the better part of study hall puzzling out a way of making their own names work.

Scott Kim is a master of this (he made the cube sgi logo but not the sun one, Vaughn Pratt did that)

Navelgazer writes "Sorry Mitheral."
