Startup.com the movie...I guess it was only a matter of time before a documentary like this was made. It's produced by the team that did "The War Room." (There's an NYTimes article here.)

heh heh. I've been dying to see this movie, just because I used to work for a company that considered the firm in this movie its big nemesis... it'll be a nice journey into nostalgic schadenfreude to see GovWorks' troubles detailed on the big screen :D

but none of the articles I've seen about Startup.com mention if it'll be at a theatre near me. or even if a ripped-off version will be available in grainy mpeg on the net. bother!

I dunno, I saw the trailer for this flick before the screening of _Ms._Jones'_Diary_ - it made me want to hurl (the movie wasn't so hot either.)

I should qualify. I live in the S.F. bay area and have worked for three dot-coms in the last two years. They've all failed, one of which was rather ugly, but all had their attendant drama.

I'm just not very interested in seeing a movie about this subject, it's sort of analogous to a WWII vet seeing _Saving_Private_Ryan_. <-- ok that was a little dramatic, but you get my point.
