Urinal Bitchie sounds a bit like Rank Sinatra, who does a great Take On Me cover. A lot of his stuff is on WFMU/People Like Us' "Do or DIY" podshowcast. Heartily recommended. posted by davemee at 2:38 AM on July 23, 2008

I noticed the Chris Morris tags in the YouTube page. Not his best work, but certainly surreal. posted by Blazecock Pileon at 3:24 AM on July 23, 2008
"Humphrey [B. Flaubert], what is your favorite film clip?"
"Well, Ron [Hitler-Barassi], I haven't seen a decent film clip since Lionel Richie's 'Hello' which, you know, was the 'Battleship Potemkin' of rock video clips." posted by maxwelton at 4:34 AM on July 23, 2008
This is so fantastic....so much more fantastic than it should be. posted by Cat Pie Hurts at 5:55 AM on July 23, 2008
Oh, my fucking god... (sorry, but the acronym just won't cut it.) brilliant. I particularly like the fact that, if you try to ignore the voice and just listen to the music, it's a better arrangement than the original. posted by Naberius at 6:02 AM on July 23, 2008
I haven't seen Moulin Rouge so thanks BrotherCaine for that disturbing yet very funny clip. Absolutely awesome. posted by Foci for Analysis at 6:08 AM on July 23, 2008
That's not a creepy audio dub of a video. That's a lame audio dub of a SERIOUSLY creepy video. posted by DU at 6:09 AM on July 23, 2008 [1 favorite has favorites]

Oh god, that was a great video. I had the sound muted, though, so I don't know what the song sounds like, but the video: hi-fuckin-larious! posted by not_on_display at 6:53 AM on July 23, 2008
Ah, nice to see love for Rank Sinatra and V/Vm! Sick Love is so good I bought it twice. posted by ninebelow at 7:08 AM on July 23, 2008

This kind of thing is right up my alley. And jack_mo, that version of "Lady in Red" is hauntingly beaut— well, it's just haunting, is all. posted by Atom Eyes at 9:32 AM on July 23, 2008

I guess I'm the lone dissenter but this is about as funny as the stuff we used to do with tape recorders and videotapes when I was 10. posted by tinkertown at 10:37 AM on July 23, 2008
Well Tinkertown, you've found the level of the room... posted by Naberius at 10:53 AM on July 23, 2008
Tinkertown, I think that's the exact reason it cracked me up so much.
Many many many years ago, I had recorded audio for the movie Barton Fink, making all the characters talk in a low guttural growl. I thought it was the most hilarious thing ever. posted by Dr-Baa at 11:08 AM on July 23, 2008
Shortly after the "Hello" video came out back in the 80's, a friend and I went to this explory natural science museum where you could do all kinds of sensatory games and simulacra pretending to be blind. Near the end of the exposition there was a real blind person with a real cane who would tell us what it is really like to be blind and how he gets all kind of neat information just using his ears. We asked him how old he thinks we are, just judging from the sound of our voices, and braced ourselves for the inevitable bulls-eye answer. But no, he was way off, I mean he guessed like 35 when we were only 22 or so.
We were soo disappointed. posted by sour cream at 11:41 AM on July 23, 2008

Yeah, it completely escapes the novelty ghetto to become a genuinely moving work. I honestly believe that. Pretty ridiculous of me, I know. posted by jack_mo at 1:16 PM on July 23, 2008
