Urinal Bitchie sounds a bit like Rank Sinatra, who does a great Take On Me cover. A lot of his stuff is on WFMU/People Like Us' "Do or DIY" podshowcast. Heartily recommended.

Tinkertown, I think that's the exact reason it cracked me up so much. Many many many years ago, I had recorded audio for the movie Barton Fink, making all the characters talk in a low guttural growl. I thought it was the most hilarious thing ever.

Shortly after the "Hello" video came out back in the 80's, a friend and I went to this explory natural science museum where you could do all kinds of sensatory games and simulacra pretending to be blind. Near the end of the exposition there was a real blind person with a real cane who would tell us what it is really like to be blind and how he gets all kind of neat information just using his ears. We asked him how old he thinks we are, just judging from the sound of our voices, and braced ourselves for the inevitable bulls-eye answer. But no, he was way off, I mean he guessed like 35 when we were only 22 or so. We were soo disappointed.
