The thing I love most about black metal from Norway is that someone took the time to write about the band's suppression of lyrics and tabs on the web as well as the use of 64 references on Wikipedia. That, everyone, is true metal.

That is snark, but not about the post and I'm very thankful for the links, puke & cry. Jesus, I hope I don't see anyone with stupid face paint at my door tonight. *Checks windows*

that producer was a real weenie. Black metal is supposedly the sound of the life of the mountains, so the hiking is part of it. especially hiking to see the house of someone's ancestors. very cool, he was lucky to be invited.

And he messes it up by whining about his designer shoes. why didn't they just cut that part out?

Great link, btw. I never got the sense for one minute that Gaahl wanted to whip out the PlayStation and goof off with his guests. The dude is scary. The end of video 5 should solidify that.
