That was fun! I'll bet finding and matching the speech snippets to the lyrics took a lot of effort.

Seconding amyms. Enjoyed that. hmatkin's other mischievous videos are fun too. There's another version of the BarackRoll on his blog.

If nothing else, this post has taught me that Obama dances exactly like my Mom. So presumably the video will play well with the key middle-aged Welsh solicitor demographic.

that is actually funny. Would've been better if they had pulled Astley's vocals off the track, but still good.

If dancing abilty is any indication, a President Obama's not a trade up for much.

George Dubya, sings Imagine by John Lennon. (with a little Lou Reed - Take a Walk on the Wild Side mixed in)

It is so hypocritical that I get a little sick to my stomach every time I watch it.

The Blair one is a million times better than this. And they managed to avoid any actual Clash, which is always good.

Funny, that's pretty much my reaction whenever I hear Lennon sing it.

SYLT = A nice place to visit (unless you're in the Channel Islands), but probably not as nice as Norderney.

Y'know if he put Ellen Degeneres on his ticket for VP? I would so change my mind and vote this November, just so I could say I was a part of that spectacle.

He'd still lose Texas, but I'd probably hang out all day at the voting place just to see the locals protest against a black man and a gay woman running for the Executive Branch. That would be off the hook sick funny.

Hypocritical? You do know that he's not actually singing the song, right?
