So, USA - Russia War Starts Any Day Now...

President George W Bush has said the US will use military aircraft and naval forces to deliver aid to Georgia following its conflict with Russia. Lets see.... US warplane delivering aid to Georgia's most devastated areas - those closest to Russian troops - gets downed by stray bloke with rocket launcher - Russian or militia of either side - and away we go. NATO sucked in etc. etc. See you on the beach

Don't we already have a Georgia thread? This is pure newsfilter, nothing I couldn't read on CNN or any other news site, one link to an article, and a nice dose of personal editorializing/fearmongering.

Not really FPP material.

Looks like Bush and Pootie-poot have found a neat way to wrap up creation of a new cold war dog and pony show in a neat little package, with south ossetia the finger in the bow knot. Yay for another 30 year buildup of the mil-industrial complex, a handy "other" to fearmonger against, now that the stuffing is starting to fall out of the al qaeda dummy, and the further crushing of dissent here and in Russia. Clever, boys.
