Kinda looks like the cover of an HP Lovecraft collection. That's not really a compliment.

I remember seeing an exhibit of his stuff at a local college in Green Bay when I was a teenager. Striking imagery, but I'm not sure I'd want to hear the artist explain the symbolism to me. His explications would probably be similar in tone to any number of slightly unhinged manifestos found on the Web.
