Giant Metafilter Post Discovered In Maine! (in this art exhibit)
Watching a giant screen at The Maine College of Art, I saw a thread moving at super-speed reader pace. It was a bunch of Netizens arguing about Japan. After a few minutes, seeing the words Metafilter, stavros, and languagehat, I realized that I was speedreading a Metafilter post, a strange experience. I realize this is a pretty lame post, since I can't locate the thread or promise a view of the thread in the ever-changing link above, but I thought Metafilter people might like to know that our little world here sprung a leak into a cool art exhibit.

No surprise. We should expect fine art from the state that gave us Mentos and Diet Coke, Judd Nelson and earmuffs.

So when I click the link, there is a little Flash element with 10 photos in it, and 3 or 4 of them are just blurry nothings, and the others are generic art student conceptual stuff.
Is this just a ChatFilter about how cool it was to see MeFi in "the World," then?

I would just like to be the first here to say that I volunteer to let Judd Nelson, wearing only earmuffs, read Metafilter to me while someone creates stunning cola fountains with mentos and diet coke.
