Two Air Force servicemen sue the DoD, federal agencies and the manufacturer of the anthrax vaccine the military's forcing personnel to take. I don't know what kind of case they have, but I sure don't blame them. And the ramifications may be even more far-reaching and dangerous.

Of course Spreading The Fear seems to be a Bush Administration priority.

What do anthrax vaccinations made mandatory in 1998 have to do with George W. Bush?

You're right techgnollogic, this started under Bush Sr.'s watch. It just fit so well with the current Bush's M.O. I got carried away. Bad Flashbacks. I'm sure he'll get right on it and stop the madness now. (And yes Clinton and Congress didn't stop it either.)

This has nothing to do with George W. Bush, of course. Relevance is irrelevant to the Bush haters, as aflakete's revisionist reponse shows.

It's hilarious, though, that any member of the Chicken Little "Bush = Apocalpyse" crowd actually has the balls to claim Dubya is the one Spreading the Fear. Can you say "projection?"

I hate Bush, but I also don't see what W. has to do with two Air Force Servicemen who refused to take the anthrax vaccine.

Rein in the anti-Bush rhetoric (did I say that?), he's making enough Fubars on his own (ah, back to normal)...

Maybe there should be a "Bush is both incredibly evil and unfathomably stupid" post stuck at the top of Metafilter for the next four years. It would save people having to come up with new posts to illustrate the point.

And as a sidenote, Bush's mispronunciation of the word "nuclear" yesterday (highlighted on the Peabody award winning Daily Show) was both funny and unbearably frightening. Kudos!

You can think Nixon for that. Ever since he was around thats how the conservatives have pronounced it...

"Thank you, Nixon!"

Yes Aaron, I can say "projection." Can you say "Dan Burton", or "Bob Barr", or "Rush, the PigBoy?" Not that I would encourage such behavior on MeFi but it has been VERY prevalent in Washington and with the talking heads in the media. Seems there hasn't a story considered newsworthy for the past several years that didn't mention Clinton's zipper. Try to have an honest discussion about current issues with these Freepers and they NEVER fail to have a derogatory statement about Clinton. Must be the keeper of all things evil. Talk about "projection."
