No shit, I once had a cassette copy of this album, which I borrowed from a friend when I lived in the Boston area from 1984 - 86. Weird, weird stuff.

This happened to me. I recorded an extended instrumental cut in San Diego while working on Andre the Giant Has A Posse in '98. Back in Oakland, I gave cassette copies to Mix Master Mike from Invisibl Skratch Piklz, and to Sunspot Jonz from Mystik Journeymen/Living Legends. The track was called Extraterrestrial.
Jump forward six years to '04, and I'm in Vancouver listening to one of the late-night CBC experimental music programs, and suddenly I hear this track by a group called Arrest The President All-Stars, featuring anticon artists Jel, Sole, and Pedestrian, and a sample of my [DJ Unimportant] track.
When I contacted producer Jel, rather than own up to it, he denied it vehemently. The only thing I could think was "small-time."
Whatev. I continue mining sounds. And when I hear that track, I really get a kick out of it: Those employed sonics are mine! Woot! posted by humannaire at 5:54 PM on August 27, 2008
