AOL jumps on the get-rich-quick bandwagon. "Every time you generate a new member for AOL who stays for 90 days, AOL will pay you $15. Imagine how much extra cash you could make! Make $20,000, $40,000, $80,000, $100,000 - the sky is the limit!" Wow, it almost sounds easier than working...

Fortunately, AOL is eager to help out. Last week a new category appeared on my friend's AOL IM: "Mail contacts online".
It looked like it was trying to tell her I was online. I wasn't. This is what happened when she clicked my name: "An AOL pop-up encouraging me to sign on a friend appeared."
Five minutes later two more of MY friends showed up on HER "Mail contacts online" list. It seems to be grabbing names from email headers.
