Watch the video: Is this governor seven months pregnant? Republican VP candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin
prematurely delivered her fifth child, Trig (
weighing a healthy six pounds, two ounces) in her eighth month on April 18, after announcing her pregnancy in February.
On April 17, despite her water being broken and suffering contractions, she boarded a six-hour flight from Dallas, TX to Juneau, AK to give birth.
But many are now claiming the child is not hers at all, but that of her daughter Bristol, who left school in late 2007 for mononucleosis and remained away from class for almost five months.
The right-wing blogosphere weighs in. Check out the comments.
In March, 2008,
she gave an interview (scroll to video) to the producers of Alaska Podshow (
entire site now down, oddly) which features her hiking the windy and wet streets of the capital city from her governor's mansion to the statehouse. Here is the governor in Alaska Magazine at
six months pregnant, (PDF warning) check out the images (except for the dated last one) and make up your mind.
