Wish they'd had these ferrofluids going back in the days of my youth when I was imbibing hallucinogens. That would've been sweet.

David Durlach did a similar thing with iron filings instead of ferrofluid. It looked great in person, but I can't find any videos other than this one [mpg, 1.4MB]

Very cool, the first two notes made me think it was going to be Legend of Zelda music, but still cool even though it wasn't.
