I didn't really get the video, but I've just had fun reading through the comic. I liked this one. posted by martinX's bellbottoms at 9:51 AM on September 22, 2008
That's some genius right there. posted by Manhasset at 10:13 AM on September 22, 2008
That's awesome. I especially enjoyed how, every time he goes to open a drawer, he stares at the camera and reaches into the air, completely missing the drawer. posted by scottreynen at 10:13 AM on September 22, 2008
The videos are kind of Tim and Eric-esque (especially the long shots where the character isn't speaking or moving much). posted by nosila at 10:17 AM on September 22, 2008
Mitchell has some very interesting things inside his study drawers. posted by Turtles all the way down at 10:38 AM on September 22, 2008
this seems like a channel 101 or 102 type thingy. has it been on either of those? posted by shmegegge at 10:59 AM on September 22, 2008
Yep, the dude puts 'em on Channel 101 New York. He also does Mister Glasses, which I like a lot better. posted by Greg Nog at 11:35 AM on September 22, 2008 [2 favorites]

"My love for you is more rigorous than modern architecture." I'm so grateful that I've lived to see that day that the world has come around to making something like Mister Glasses. You wouldn't believe how lonely it's been until now... posted by Faze at 4:57 PM on September 22, 2008
Wow, Mitch and Dyna in the blue. Never expected that. Some background and random related links:
Welcome To My Study aired for the first time at a Channel 102 screening - June of 07 - and came in 6th out of 8, thus dooming it to failure. Still, it was much beloved by the core 102 community, and wouldn't get revived until Mister Glasses began it's steady run - much to our delight and the confusion of the audience.
Dyna Moe (who you may know from those Mad Men wallpapers that the kids are going crazy for) directed and edited Welcome To My Study. She's also got a hand in Mr. Glasses, and also brought the world Cakey.
Mitch Magee is both a gentleman and a scholar.
If you like Mr. Glasses and/or Welcome To My Study, you may also want to check out Sexual Intercourse American Style, Mitch's other long-running show, and by far my favorite thing that's ever come out of Channel 101/102. posted by Remy at 7:53 PM on September 22, 2008 [1 favorite]
