dreadful... the music, the "editing" job of the video, just all around dreadful I caught the end of Peaches set when I saw NIN a year or two ago, she was on before Bauhaus, so she was the opening act for the opening act. Never before have I felt more embarrassed for a performer. She strips down to her bra and panties and runs into the half empty grand stand while "singing". I can't think of a time when I thought "shit, I hope this half naked woman doesn't come near me" until this moment occurred.

inthe80s, I saw the same tour. I didn't feel she came off very well in an outdoor arena three hours before sunset. But she does join a short list of women who can pull off a duet with Iggy Pop. I thought this was pretty good for a class project, not so sure if it's that much better than many other mash-ups. I did think it was fantastic that he got the Disney logo in there.

You know I never realized until now how I bought into the stigmatizing of Miss Piggy when I was younger. Now that I am older and wiser I can't help but think she has got something. That sort of big bold brassiness of a woman who that knows she is more than just the sum of bountiful stuffing. Her appetites, rather than being mocked, deserve respect. She attacks life with a knife and fork and makes a meal of it. She decides what she wants and pursues it. Kermit was a fool.

I thought Peaches was clearly tongue in cheek as she uses the line 'Check out my behind, it's fine all of the time', which is visibly incorrect. Cibelle is a young lady who is more talented, more tunefull, crazier and has a fine behind all of the time. She is also fantastic fun to see live. Distorted sound on the clip, but you get the idea.
