Great post. Photomicrography is some of my favorite photography.

I used this image (an entry from 2003) for a CD I designed for a friend's record label. I'm not especially proud of the design, but I love the photo, and it suits the music well. (I did ask permission—the photographer very graciously sent me a high-res version.)
