The panda just started vomiting nudes at me. Tasteful nudes, yes, but it was more than mildly disconcerting.

It keeps giving me pictures like this one, people holding record sleeves in front of their heads.

I liked the panda drawing before the photos began appearing. They distract from the drawing.

This reminds me of a site I want to make "2 Fairies, 1 Cup"

I'd imagine fairies shit rainbows, no? How hot would that be? Fairies drinking rainbow shit out of a cup?

Anybody got flash skills to create it?

This is why no one can ever get pandas to mate in captivity.

Is it just me, or is Yahoo! taking forEVER to load these days?
posted by malaprohibita at 1:21 PM on October 5, 2008

Or, should I say, Yahoo-owned sites.

There's an something of an explanation at the page linked to below the rainbow-vomiting pandas.

A mashup of Flickr, Katamari Damacy, and the Prime Number-Shitting Bear? Brilliant!

And I would be able to locate your blog where exactly?

I don't think 'cup' suffices for that; I think you have to go for 'chalice' at the very least. Possibly an additional 'gilded' or even 'exquisitely wrought' might be called for.

The Searcher's stuff is beyond awesome. Thanks.

Too bad it only took ten seconds for the panda to barf up a picture of a fucking Blythe doll.

Q. What goes black, white, black, white, black, white?

A. A panda rolling down a hill.

Maybe it's because it swallowed a copy of Dark Side of the Moon....

Okay, I'm beginning to foment in my mind this notion that somehow YouTube comments and Flickr Explore are somehow being influenced by the same gene pool. Is it just me, or is Explore constantly filled with the most hackneyed, trite, over-saturated and banal photographs on Flickr, with only the occasional gem accidentally making it through?

(not that Vomiting-Rainbow-Panda isn't one cool piece of software -- it is)

Okay, this picture? Even more disconcerting.

That photo just led me to a far more disconcerting experience. You can have it too, just poke around in the photographer's photostream until you stumble across something that mentions her age.

I was sort of thinking that it might start vomiting my own photos at me.

"The other panda is vomiting a rainbow without photographs"

The first one is from marketing.
The second one...from sales...

I don't even know where to start... I couldn't keep watching because I was afraid it might start spewing pictures of people I know.
