Ay Shona, don't take shaggin' the yobbo so hard, she'll be apples in good time, mind if I have a crack at those chips?

Down the well!

Is that what the kids (and collies) are calling it these days?

Judging by the home page illustration, if = yes, when = noontime and where = on any park bench.

"My baws are full to burst"??

He's praying for sex???

WTF? Awesome! Learning sex language, virgins!

There was definitely something cool about that, even if I didn't like the coda giving the girls who wanted to shag their due comuppance for being slags and aw that.

In all honesty though, having lived through the teen years as a guy, I'm not sure how much if any of my horniness would have been assuaged by knowing that some other prick wasn't getting laid. In fact, I'm pretty sure I didn't give those guys a second thought once I was with my girlfriend. Pretty sure the bigger issue was my baws being full to burst on my ride home.

(still, again, nice to see an honest "book" about the realities of peer pressure and the desire to have sex when one or both people aren't entirely sure they're ready for it. Even better when it's all Scottish-like.)

So, the boys who were bragging about sex were just lying virgins. But the girls were whores.

My favorite part was when Tam cycles home, "taking care not to crush his knackers." I fucking hate it when I crush my knackers on my bike.

"Three months later, when Kirsty is finally ready to have sex, they're doing it in a car in the park, and Michael Myers jumps out of the bushes and kills them both."

I cannot write with a Scottish accent.

Don't miss the other story on there, True or False?: A short book about sex, honesty and making decisions.

Who is this for? Teenagers who tell themselves that they're watching it ironically?

Ask Willy?
heh. You know Willy only thinks about one thing.
And you can't ask his friends either... they're nuts.

I dunno, she's not doing it for me (the narrator). I don't dig the weegie accent (don't hate on me, people... it's a shit accent). Almost as bad as Yam Yam (Dudlaaaaaaaay).

According to willy, I'm sexy. I'd like to know whether jill thinks I"m sexy too.

The girls were all getting laid by older guys with the cars and the good weed, obviously.

This is big Al, the homophobic school bully, thumping Rory.
Big Al's baws are bursting too.
Big Al wants to pin Rory to the floor and empty his baws.
Thump, thump, thump.
Thump, thump, thump.

Scottish schoolgirls are so hawt.

*pauses*

Wait, was there some moral to this thing?

Is this shit for real? Is anyone supposed to take this seriously? It pisses me off that it's always the girl who is scared to have sex. I don't remember having this problem as a teenager. But I also didn't end up with vomit on myself on a playground somewhere or blowing bananas in the locker room.

"What makes boys sexy?
Bullying"

Oooookay. *Backs away from Scotland quietly but warily*

Yeah, ROU, I was just about to mention that. Again, mad props for honesty, though.

That was quite awesome. So direct, funny and in many ways quite wise. The accent is delicious, thick as pudding and wonderful to listen to.

I like the slogan for Be Books, "Be safe. Be sure. Be yourself." It's an excellent site, good, practical links.

Award winning design.
