L'homme et l'oiseau au Mont-Blanc. Falconer Jacques-Olivier Travers runs the Aigles du Léman park on Lake Geneva where he teaches eagles raised in captivity how to fly. Here he is paragliding down the Alps with his student Sherkan.

Puts my short walks in the yard with the dog more than a bit to shame.

These were beautiful -- thanks! I am wondering why the 14 year old eagle only started to learn to fly 18 months ago. I know it was raised in captivity, but it seems sad that it only now started to soar and fly.

How cool wouldn't it be to be able to answer the question "what do you do for a living" with "I teach eagles to fly"!
