There are programs which convert normal sound wave files into MIDI, so that voices can become notes. (I suspect something like this was used... It's fun to do; she has a rhythmic voice, so it lends to the song having more "beats" where she stresses certain things.) And I was going to suggest that this be a better Palin Song, except that it seems more like an idle song than anything, so never mind.

Hehe. That was a lot better than I expected. It made me think of this episode of Radio Lab where there was an interview with Diana Deutsch about the music inherent in our speech. I can recommend the Sometimes Behaves So Strangely segment since it does sort of the same thing as the Palin video (speech into song) but without any accompaniment. Seriously, first it's speech, and then suddenly it's song (yeah, I know it doesn't sound like it makes sense, but listen to the segment and you'll understand what I mean).
