That'd go great with #4!

Flagged as half assed outragefilter.

Plenty-o-threads available to plunk this in. I saw it on Reddit too.

Roger Ailes implies Obama a terrorist way back in March 2007.

You could go next year as Sambo. Two for the price of one.

Are you sure you don't want to go as a FLAG? [dramatic movie music]

Come to think of it...I\d like to go this year as a deleted Mefi thread. I'll throw on a pair of bunny ears and go as the Easter Bunny whilst carrying a big blue card with a comment from jessamyn saying "You're not even trying are you?"

Weak sauce. Going as whatever Matt's latest twitter or post is about - that's the new hot shit.

Whatever the merits of this post on Metafilter, I still e-mailed Amazon and said, politely, WTF, I'm a-headin' for Barnes and Noble. You betcha!

Wait, weak sauce and hot shit? Can we at least keep our metaphors using the same orifice?

You think you're hot shit, but you're really just weak sauce.

Already been done.

I've got to ask the question no one else seems to:

EVEN IF Obama WERE a card-carrying, Al-Qaeda member... what exactly would that empower him to do? It doesn't appear to me like he'd get much congressional approval or funding to declare ware on Israel... but maybe he could get a couple of nukes off? I still don't think that's how that works, since the 25th can allow for a sitting President to be taken down by his own cabinet if it's clear that he's gone completely batshit fucking insane.

So Obama's a terrorist... does he abolish homeland security and open us up to terrorist attacks? Lord knows it's not like he'd be able to craft his own suitcase bomb to take out the White House himself with any ease at all...

I'm just saying that short of undermining policy in completely bizarre ways, it seems like any terrorist worth their salt would be considerably better equipped outside of the system. Or, in fact, at any point in the chain *below* the President himself.

Am I wrong here? I just find it an interesting way to counter the completely ridiculous terrorist notions besides the obvious "are you this christfucking stupid and yet still able to speak?"

This Obama=Terrorist shit might actually fly if the world worked along the lines of action movie plots. It's the same kind of logic that's behind the "ticking time bomb" scenario that's been used to justify torturing people.
