thank you very much... i'll be wading through this one for a while.

daido, rinko and araki are pretty profound image makers. i can't get enough of their work. especially the paranoid daido.

lately i've been thinking a lot about his trip to new york and the story that he was too terrified to wander the city. thus all his images from that event are furtive. shots from moving vehicles and from balconies. it's got me doing the same trying to capture that same surreptitious sensation.
