The "Amazonia" one is the best, ya gotta love a paper that can manage to fit the election, a dead body and bikini'd boobies on the same page. That's range, man.

Whoever made this probably should have put a bit more thought when picking the Australian papers and chosen the November 6th headlines as opposed to November 5th.

Instead they have several Aussie papers all with Melbourne Cup headlines and a small article at the bottom regarding the "elections today". Amusingly, all the Australian articles before the election result seemed to only have photos of Obama anyway.

Man, what's up with their caricature of Obama? I guess they wanted to avoid it looking racial so they just randomly distorted his face.

The headline that wasn't run. (story)

Who's this Obama Guy?

These guys need some height width tags and some title tags.

I need my dramamine just to load the page.

And I never found any boobies. Feel like I'm playing "Where's Waldo?" but with boobies and Obama.

Newspaper headlines about Obama are the only man-made objects that can be seen from the moon.

wow. That is a moving visual. It's so apparent the whole planet is as relieved as us in the USA.

A friend was in Rome and said there was great jubilation there.

Looking at the vote it's better than I expected.

cjorgensen, don't fret, here's the boobies dear.

The people, maybe. Lotta dead trees there.

Whoever made this is just linking the Newseum's Today's Front Pages images from Nov. 5th, and apparently using the resulting traffic to pimp their actual project. Newseum is credited, down at the bottom, but it's at least a little sketchy. Not saying it's a bad post, just noting where the content actually comes from.

Damnit nickyskye, it keeps timing out! The rest of you stop looking!

And AZ I looked to see if you can see the Obama headlines from space. You can't (last link).

I work for one of those papers. Hated our front page. The headline was larger than our Staff. Yuck.

We've done some cool pages though, so I don;t care. We also sold out of the paper. I don't remember that happening very often. Selling every paper printed is not usually something that still happens in the newspaper industry.

Well, at least it wasn't this

Here's a direct link to the Newseum's Nov. 5th front pages.

Oh, and I agree with donnagirl that the original link is sketchy. I wish we could change the link to the real source rather than help pimp whoever nyud-linked all of the newseum's pages.

Sorry, I goofed the link above.

Here's the correct link to the Newseum's Nov. 5th front pages.

Flagged as "Please replace OP's link to an ad spammer with the one to the source material" because otherwise it's a good post.

One of the headlines on this exhaustive visual-list (Spanish) is DECLARATION OF WAR and has nothing to do with the USA.

Just to let you know it wasn't all Obama Obama Obama everywhere...

Although I am personally happy about the presidential election results making our brothers and sisters around the world a little happier about our hyper-militarized nation and its possibly more user-friendly direction.

This is my hope, which is "a thing with feathers," as one of our poets put it. Obama comes across as a warmonger. But I have hope that his inclination toward diplomacy will trump his nuke-dropping capabilities (I did not say, in the spirit of hope, inclinations).

Only one Malaysian newspaper? But then again, on Nov 5th they wouldn't have had much to report.

Front pages for November 6th, which would include Oceania and Asia's reactions.

It's interesting that Iceland picked a picture with two young African-Americans celebrating, but the Obama signs in the background are artistically blurred, so it's only by reading the article that you can even tell what they're happy ABOUT. No actual picture of Obama on the front page. I wonder what the motivation for that editorial decision was.

My journalist-girlfriend tells me that the only paper here to not run Obama as a headline was an English-language evening tabloid, and that was apparently to attract more eyeballs. This was because just about every paper sold in Singapore (including foreign dailies such as the International Herald Tribune) had Obama's pictures on the front-age.

SOME OF THESE DO NOT MENTION OBAMA AT ALL!! THIS IS A FALSE POLL AND I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!!!

Not just Australia—much of the world. If you're going to rip off the Newseum, at least provide some value-added by bringing the Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 Obama headlines together on one page.

And it's very odd that the only two Russian papers included are the Delovoi Peterburg [Business St. Petersburg] and the Chelyabinskii rabochii [Chelyabinsk Worker], a minor paper and a completely insignificant one respectively. WTF?
