I remember watching his Christmas specials when I was very young. That was one laid-back guy! There was a sketch on SNL (I think) where someone portraying him (Hartman?) lounged on a couch half asleep while singing & doing the Christmas thing. I had no idea that he sang "Hot Diggety."
