A President is Known by His Lawn Mower

Is there no end to the shady associations of Barack Obama? Crack journalist Dave Barry has published photographic proof that the president-elect is a Lawn Ranger. What's a Lawn Ranger? Glad you asked. Dave Barry has written about this nefarious organization not once, but twice and their strange and eldritch rites have been profiled on WILL public television of Central Illinois, where the organization has its headquarters, in the town of Arcola, where they parade every year.

My first thought on seeing the picture of Obama, plunger in hand, was that he looked a lot like Laurence Fishburne in The Matrix.

OMG, what they've been saying on the Youtube is true. I have come to rue the day after all.

Better a Lawn Ranger than a Skull and Bonesman.

That's not Obama, that's O'Bama. Easily made mistake.

I see this, and I know, all the way through my neurons down into the marrow of my bones, that if a dead grey whale should wash up anywhere on our nation's shores, President Obama will know what to do. And do to sweet, glorious excess.

Hi. I live in Central Illinois. A cultist US president is the least of your worries.... The University of Illinois is putting up what they say is a new carillon on campus, but I think that there is reason for deep concern that it is something entirely more sinister ....

Barack the plumber seems to have done better than Joe, the unfortunate.

Dave Barry certainly does have silliness down to a science. This is especially evident in A Sort of History of the United States. Giggled my teenaged head off to that one in high school.

Dave Barry Slept Here is good, and I find his Guide to Guys or whatever it's called very funny, too.

Obama could drive over baby ducklings in his motorcade and I would still find a way to it prove how awesome he is.

That said, this is an awesome picture.

I sometimes really miss Central Illinois

And I sometimes really miss Dave Barry. Sometimes=Friday which was the day his column appeared in the paper. Sure, I have all his books, but you can only re-read them so many times.

Gary Larson, Dave Barry. Where has all the humor gone, long time passing?

I've made an appearance on Dave's blog.

You may, if you like, bask in my glory.
