I have a bunch of 11x8.5 construction paper and fingerpaint signs made by little kids supporting Obama, which were hung at a state Obama HQ.

We donated to the Obama campaign. When he won we realized that we had no 'memorabilia' and went ahead and bought a couple of t-shirts and lapel pins for our son (he's 9 months old) as collector's items. They still have items here for sale. I've always thought that old presidential election pins and such were some of the coolest things you could collect. Thanks for the site and article links.

Oh, and the same guy who did the pin collection site did a newspaper front-page collection from the across the US which was also impressive. On top you can see a link to international papers as well. It used to be just one page but for some reason he separated them.
