I was talking with a photojournalist about what it is like to be freelance these days. I was told the last major publication (a world-wide news periodical) that recently bought from this person paid this person $120.00 per photo for three photos. These were photos from a war zone. I mean, damn! posted by YoBananaBoy at 10:27 AM on November 22, 2008
Would be nice if they let me look at a photo and read its caption and then decide when to look at the next photo, instead of unilaterally deciding that four seconds is the optimal time for doing so.
It would also be nice if they didn't inexplicably decide to play one bar of some random music on an infinite loop. posted by Flunkie at 2:27 PM on November 22, 2008
