Sony's Mission Statement? Maybe. Maybe not. Regardless, it's a damn fine send-up.

Funny I suppose, but what is the context?

I've bought some Sony products and been pretty happy with them.

When did Sony become a vast, soul sucking, evil empire? Did I miss the memo?

ummm....yeah.....let me get you another copy of that memo

But really, what gives? I've been nothing but pleased with all my Sony/Aiwa purchases. In fact, I've got a 17-year old TV that still works perfectly, while others have come and gone. Sounds like somebody's just bitter that they own the west coast nowadays, as well as Rockerfeller Center (I think).

Ha ha ha! It's a corporation, so it's evil! Get it?

And when did not supporting the United Way become a bad thing? If you're inclined to help the poor/sick, wouldn't you want your money to actually reach them instead of buying a limo for the "charity"'s director? And then you get into the question of why a corporation should have any sort of matching on its employee's charitable contributions - hasn't anyone explained the concept of separation between work and personal life to this wannabe activist?

With all due respect, he could have at least obsured the url to make it look like it was from Sony. Otherwise, I'm just lost as to what the point of it all was.
