Well, that was very nice, and I love the visual story-telling.

I don't know why those things yank my emotions around so hard, but whatever the reason, hey, presto, I'm a fucking wreck once again.

It's interesting how this series started out so silly and ended up so dramatic. I don't think I completely understood the end though. They didn't leave, so everything magically turned out OK?

I missed part four, somehow. Thanks for the update.

Nah. Nothing could do that.

So sweet. I like how dark they take it. It looks to me that after episode 2 that they made the choice to really tell a very clean arc of a story.

Spoiler:

I really like that they stay. They stay and fight, rather than run away - it's really quite beautiful.

Thanks for pointing these out. I'd seen the first two but not the others.

Cabbits are some of the most wonderful hybrids available.

Superb.

I think I felt my cynical, blackened cinder stir a little in there...

Does not compute.

What is a heart?

What's the background to all this? Are bi-racial couples in Korea really getting beaten up on the streets? Mobs chanting 'Pure Blood'?

Maybe it's just a general purpose tale of the triumph of love over societal expectations?

I'll be skipping these, as I like my blackened cinder just fine, thank you.

Being "treated as second-class citizens" (even getting spat on, apparently) looks like a problem. Someone better informed than I am, however, should put "There She Is" in the proper context of evolving contemporary Korean concepts of racial identity, e.g. "Korea is a single-race country".

All this time I've been enjoying a cartoon serial about what I thought was only a cat and rabbit's Romeo and Juliet relationship...

I'm imagining that the hate campaign is propagated by the Mormons and in their spare time, Doki and Nabi are working hard to repeal Prop. 8 because they understand that no luv should be outlawed.

That was really great. Now someone do a FPP about Korean race relations.

Okay, alright, I watched the last three eps, and I cried. There. Hope you're happy.
