This is AWESOME. So much cheese! I love it. However, I'm confused by one of the descriptions:
(mostly rare italodance & a few new wave tracks by: rose mcdowell, ronny, visage)
Um, Rose McDowall? The same one who did all the collaborations with Death In June, Current 93, Coil, Nurse With Wound, etc.? How does she even remotely fit in with all this? posted by DecemberBoy at 12:00 PM on December 18, 2008
I just puked in my mouth a little. posted by gman at 12:02 PM on December 18, 2008
How does she even remotely fit in with all this? Strawberry Switchblade, I'm thinking. It's a plinka-plinka enough sound that it would be attractive to remixers. posted by gargoyle93 at 12:06 PM on December 18, 2008

I was just about to suggest channel 2 of Intergalactic FM for anyone who likes this stuff, as I do. My wife and I have spent the past couple of Sundays passing the time with channel 3 and talking to bob. posted by vansly at 1:51 PM on December 18, 2008
thanks gargoyle93 for the strawberry switchblade link. it's an old favorite of mine.
it's sad that they never made a 2nd album- AMG posted by bhnyc at 2:10 PM on December 18, 2008
Love this. Thanks for posting the Intergalactic FM link too. Listening right now! posted by flipyourwig at 3:33 PM on December 18, 2008
Whatever anyone may think of this kind of music, I want to give the site profound props for not having any sort of embedded player that cranks up and starts blasting the instant the page begins to load. posted by jfuller at 6:01 PM on December 18, 2008
I have wondered what Italo-Disco was for a while. I have at least one record on the label 'Italo-Disco', but I don't think it does what it says on the label as it is a Quadtrant Park rave smash.
Will listen without prejudice. posted by asok at 5:43 AM on December 19, 2008
