Clean Coal Kills!

I caught this on the InterNet and looked at TV news for details. There was no coverage. So, from the Net: an earthen dam holding back many many tons of coal dust sludge has burst, releasing 5.4M cubic yards of toxic waste onto the Tennessee landscape. Another story. This is a bigger environmental disaster than the Exxon Valdez. Or so the record-keepers say. It happened before and killed at least 124 people outright. The long term effects of coal dust are nasty. jimbob: you're right. I wasn't monitoring MeFi Boxing Day, I guess, and none of my links turned up doubles on preview. The powers that be can decide whether to dump the Post or not
