BECAUSE NO ONE BOTHERED TO MAKE AN UNOFFICIAL ONE

Keith Powell, the guy who played a nerdy writer on 30 Rock, has an enjoyable website. Especially the bio.

I went looking to see if he was taken off 30 Rock (looks like he was) and I was struck by how funny and engaging his site is.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice! I was just so excited about Sue getting a bigger part and seeing Peter Dinklage as a guest.

i was going to say how i thought his site was pretty meh, but then i thought, why bother to do that in the thread, but i had already started typing, and now it's just easier to hit "post."

“the guy who played a nerdy writer on 30 Rock” — thanks for narrowing it down.

He's off 30 Rock? That sucks. He was at least as significant as any of the writers, and played well against Tracy Morgan. Not to mention that I cheered when Lemon called him "Chocolate Rain."

He's off 30 Rock? For reals? Why? When?

According to this NBC press release from yesterday, Powell's still with the show (which has been picked up through 2010 -- yay!). I think he's listed as "credit only" in IMDB for recent episodes because his character didn't appear in those episodes. The show seriously needs to get back to using more of its cast every week.

Excellent. I've been looking for an excuse to ask people what the hell happened to Josh Girard. What the hell happened to Josh Girard? Apparently he is only missed by me.

Yeah, they haven't shown the writers much lately, and I miss them. I think Frank is my favorite.

They've been too busy spotlighting the fancy guest stars. But I still love it.

Toofer, you guys, he's Toofer! And I sincerely hope he's not off the show, although I've heard people say that the show is starting to distance itself from the "show about a comedy show" aspect which might mean cast reduction. Right now I'm fearing for Pete, he hasn't had much to do so far this season.

And the guy who plays Josh wasn't in the last episode, but he was in a commercial for some unrelated product during the last broadcast. Maybe he's fighting his way back in from the outside?

Yeah, too many guest stars already. Stop it.

Twofer.

Say it with me.

Twofer.

"Too" and "Two" are two different words.

The Oneders, everybody!

It's pronounced "Wonders"

His website says Toofer.

Just sayin'.

Oh snap, you got served tehloki!

Geez tehloki, you probably don't believe that "spuh-CHEH-min" is an appropriate pronunciation for "Spaceman," either.

it is actually "Dr. Specimen", pronounced "spuh-CHEH-min", but Tracy mispronounces it as "Dr. Spaceman," because he is so zany.

According to IMDB, it is Dr. Spaceman.

the hell it is.

well there you go. where's that dang confounded "erroneous comment withdrawal" button when one needs it?

that makes more sense from a pronunciation standpoint, at least.

Regardless of how they spell his name on the show, or how he spells it on the website, when you abbreviate "two for one", you should use "twofer". I stand by my statement.

That sounds like just the thing a nerdy uptight Harvard writer would say, leading his piss-taking comedy buddies to permanently brand him "Toofer" instead.

And the score stands at:

Mefi: too, tehloki: zero.

I would just like to point out that the Canadian one-dollar coin, called a "loonie" because of the loon depicted on it, now shares company in millions of pockets with the "Toonie", the two-dollar coin. (yep, spelled "toon")

Obviously, this is nonsense. Do we call the one-dollar coin a "one-y"? The two-dollar coin has a bear on it. Thus, it is a beary. (berry?)

What were we talking about again?
