"Oh .... Mr. Collins.... " (please, please, please let him become a Zombie and get killed in a most horrific fashion)

And definately, Wickham and Lydia should have to defend themselves from the attacking Zombie hordes during their elopement (failing of course).

(I know way too much about this subject)

Which subject? Austen or zombies?

I'm now stuck with the image of a slightly built girl in Empire dress, with intelligent eyes and fair skin, blowing the heads off zombies from atop her neoclassical country house.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single zombie in possession of a good fortune must be in want of brains.

However little known the feelings or views of such a zombie may be on his first entering a neighborhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, they must shoot the head or destroy the brain."

You know, when the zombies actually come, they're going to be powered by something really stupid, like the fucking pancreas or something, and we're all going to get ripped apart by all the headless zombies we created by blowing off their heads.

I'm genuinely considering buying this book, for what it's worth.

Gosh! I wish I was still reading books. I got dumbed by the net and got breathed on by a real honest to God zombie. Now I crave pork brains in gravy and my eyes jiggle a whole lot.
Looks like I'll be missing out on some classic literature with my zombie bro's added. Bummer.

I'm going to moan with undead hunger this evening, every time someone says "marriage" on Masterpiece Classic. Then I'll do a shot.

I love (by which I mean hate) the comment on there that said something about cultural being completely bankrupt now. As though Pride and Prejudice were the first time ever that a romantically involved couple suffered misunderstandings...with hilarious results!
