Server issues aside, the last few days have been pretty cool around here. Microsoft Songsmith remixes, a Guns N Roses member writing a financial column, and now I discover via this site the greatest cat name even: Boutros Boutros Kitty.

Even though it subverts somewhat the zero-functionality design aesthetic I'm going for, I think I'll have to implement some sort of Kitty Index in the next couple of days to help people out here. "Reload until you find your cat" won't really scale that well.

Also, I'm probably gonna do cat uploads like twice a day in batches, and I have other obligations tonight, so tomorrow morning is going to be like catpocalypse judging by my inbox.

I've been cheating and clicking every cat as the greatest. Well, ok, at first I clicked great a couple of times but then I realized that all cats are the greatest at something. I don't know what that something is but they do so who am I to judge?

Monkey vs. Robot is a classic. Thanks for reminding me of it. Back in university I had it in my shared folder on the residence network and it became a cult hit around campus with people quoting it and having mock monkey vs. robot fights.

Oh man, last night I accidentally sent cortex a picture of some robots instead of my cat, but I had no idea.

We had a series of emails where he's all "dude, I don't think that's your cat" and I'm all "WTF? Look at him here in my flickr doing cat stuff!! Of course it's my cat" and he's all "dude, you sent me robots." Oops!

I've got bad news for cortex. Apparently, his web strategy is so golden that a MAJOR MEDIA ENTITY is moving in on it. Time Inc. in partnership with CNN presents PeoplePets.com. It's a little dog-dominant, but I suspect that's a result of some serious market research.

Heh, and that was the pared down list of just the good ones! I didn't expect you to upload them all but at least you've got a bunch to choose from.
