I knew Summer. I met her in real life and went to high school with her boyfriend. In fact , my first adventure into personal publishing was an underground yearbook I co-edited with Summer's boyfriend.

I linked to this site many times and attended her wake.

I've known about it for a couple of years. I figured there was a lot of free-floating compassion that needed a new home today, so I published the link here. Summer's boyfriend really did her justice with that site, the CD, and the other tributes.

I finally got the Songs For Summer cd last week as a birthday gift -- I really did get all choked up reading the liner notes. I never met Summer, but I have met Adam (in person, not just online); he's been on a mailing list that I maintain for many years now. Anyway, if you're interested in any of the music on that cd, please buy a copy. It really does go for a good cause.

I must say that Adam's energy in putting the cd, the music shows, etc. together is humbling. As rcade said, he did Summer justice.
