Find the status of your tax rebate.

Where's my tax rebate? If you e-filed, you can find out the status of your tax rebate just a few days after filing. If you pen-and-paper filed, it'll take a few weeks, but if you have the primary filer's SSN, filing status, and the expected rebate amount, you can track what status your tax return and rebate are in.

Here's a PDF listing their rebate deposit/mailing schedule...interestingly enough they only mail out on Friday.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Eh? Any prompt US tax filers can probably track this down on their own, seems a bit odd for a front page post. -- cortex

Refund, not rebate. There is no tax rebate this filing season. Therefore, this only works if you are entitled to a federal refund.

Best of the IRS? In other news, there's a PTA meeting at the Northside Independent School in San Antonio, TX.

I used Turbo Tax the day I got my W2, and I got my refund last Friday.
