And though I am sort of cynically derisive of this "tagging" idea (as I picture all the smug people "supporting both art and a liberation movement, at the same time!"), I think that this is probably a good thing. Dialogue, plus sending money (hopefully) to those who need it is a win.

I remember in primary school (must have been like 91 or 92 at the latest), a boy in my class brought to school a small chunk of the Berlin Wall his father had bought. Not only was it actually pretty cool in itself, but it had half a German word scrawled on it in electric blue. Nobody knew what it was meant to say, but I get some great satisfaction from believing it was a crude word that a group of ten year olds were poring over. In that vein, I think €30 for the chance that in 40 years time there will be a chunk of my West Bank Wall graffiti in a museum, being photographed and stared at by schoolchildren is well worth it. Especially if the only half the word survives, and the kids have to ponder just what word the letters 'Tat-' were meant to be spelling. Either that, or I ask them to write, 'Ceci n'est pas un mur.'

Doesn't flow right. If you went with "and for 72 virgins, a Palestinian will paint the walls with himself", you'd have something. You have to emphasize the concept of the splatter, not the blood. This is Middle East Peace Process Comedy 101, people.
