The title of this website led me to believe it would be a lot smuttier than it actually is. posted by munyeca at 1:34 PM on March 2, 2009 [2 favorites]
filthy light thief, I know this dude's (Andy) work from Buttlord GT. Pages are attributed to Andy and another fellow, Nathan. So the artist for the dude-a-day is Andy, but he appears to do collaborative work with some other dudes? I could be wrong.
Oh man, flashbacks to King Pie. I also gotta check if he's continued work on Oh My Fantasy Epic. posted by Mister Cheese at 2:13 PM on March 2, 2009
I hate sites like these...sites that show an artist's raw talent and ease at which they do their work or hobby...and here I sit, barely able to sketch a smiley face. posted by fijiwriter at 2:16 PM on March 2, 2009
And your point is......?
Chill, dude. Just riffin' on the whole "of the day" thing (dude-a-day, oriental-rug-a-day, saint-a-day...). posted by Evangeline at 2:29 PM on March 2, 2009
This is pretty need, but I think I'd be more excited by a chick a day. Or whatever word you want to use as the female equivalent to "dude."
Lemme know if he decides to do that. posted by Caduceus at 2:56 PM on March 2, 2009
I think this is pretty expressive of my ideation of metafilter as what one might call an amuse bouche of the web: I like the idea of presenting single-serving websites, small artist blogs -- individual posts that showcase a single thing. posted by boo_radley at 3:00 PM on March 2, 2009

Highly Highly enjoyable.
I particularly like Jan 28th.
It just ends that little series rather amusingly. posted by Lacking Subtlety at 3:26 PM on March 2, 2009
I was expecting photos of hot and sweaty firemen. Or something. Still trying to figure out if I'm relieved or disappointed. posted by Xere at 5:45 PM on March 2, 2009 [1 favorite]
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man. posted by Rhomboid at 8:57 PM on March 2, 2009
I'm disappointed. Cheez. I agree with Rhomboid. posted by wv kay in ga at 10:11 PM on March 2, 2009
This is nifty. The X-Files and Indiana Jones ones were my faves.
I hate Blogger's way of making you pick through the archives though. It's like they never anticipated the need to absorb anything but the newest stuff when you discover a little gem of a blog. posted by harriet vane at 1:48 AM on March 3, 2009
