Verminology is a specimen garden of monsters and beasts of the most pestiferous and meddlesome sort, drawn by fingertip on iPhone, using Brushes app. New additions daily. Also be sure to check out Toadbriar for dolls, paintings, sculpture, and Faerie fun! From MeFi's own Lou Stuells. [via mefi projects].

Oh, wonderful - thanks for the Toadbriar link. Excellent toad content! (Although we do not care for being grouped together with monsters and vermin, and are neither pestiferous nor meddlesome).

Gracious. I've hit the big time! Let me try to fit in...
Your favorite iPhone monster artist sucks!
or,
LOL ought to draw Palin next amirite??
Thanks very much. kliuless, that post was my inspiration, actually. It's fun to play within strict parameters.

The Toad, Australian invasions aside, amphibians are delightful. Toads are my favorite, like skunks they're pretty much unflappable with all the confidence huge puffy poison glands on your head can inspire. More than once we've stopped the car to move aside a stubborn one in the road who seemed certain he could win the staring contest versus our headlights. Plus: adorable stubby toes. What's not to love?

Thanks again!

I was impressed by what could be done on the iPhone. I was fully expecting to see xkcd level drawing, not fully textured creatures. I found myself loading the page on Friday waiting for the update.

That "The Daily Monster" site is cool. And Lou, left you comments on each creature posted so far!
