This post was deleted for the following reason: Yeah, let's wait for a real post about her instead of this breaking news stuff -- mathowie

Possibly not FPP-worthy, but all the same:

Lacking subtlety, indeed.

Noting some context to the post. There was an earlier thread that posted some reports prior to the family statement and was thus deleted. The brevity of the post itself is meant more as a conclusion to that. Also, she was truly a great actress.

No, fuck this. I want a serious post about her incredible career as an actress, the storied history of the Redgrave dynasty, and maybe a little information and statistics on talk-and-die syndrome and sports helmet usage.

So go make that post, because I'm flagging the shit out of this one. She deserves better.

I have a distance acquaintance who died while skiing under pretty normal circumstances recently (no Warren Miller stuff). When did skiing get so dangerous? RIP.

Jesus. And all this time I was thinking they were overplaying this little fall on the ski hill. So sad.

She was great in The Handmaid's Tale

Two teenaged sons. Everyone involved deserves better than this.

Yeah, what? Single link post to a death announcement? This smacks of a ghoulish attempt at "firsties". Obitfilter without context is gross.

After all the speculation in the news media, someone should have taken the time to craft a better post than this. This is the very definition of "I wanna be first to make an obit thread", LackingSubtlety. Natasha Richardson deserved better.

If only we had someplace to make meta comments about posts.
