A touching song about gay trees.

As morganw did last year (see his instructions for easy downloading), here is a list of five-starred music and four-starred music. (Take .txt off the URL for easy middle-clicking.)

Thanks for this. The six-word reviews are completely pointless (if ever a meme needed to die...), but the links to songs are totally great to have gathered up. AIDS Wolf - who knew?

I'm much more interested in listening to tracks my fellow MeFites recommend.
Bring em on, guys!

Oh man thank you for this. I got so much new music out of the last one, and I appreciated some of the reviews. Wanna ride bikes fast at night, for example, is exactly right.

Well, Paul Ford fits that description.

I like 'AIDS Wolf', not his reviews.

Absinthe Minds (Avant/Experimental) - "Busted stereo in John Gacy’s basement."

I was all like "Sweet! I love things like Climax Golden Twins, and that's a perfect description of them." Then I listened, and it didn't sound anything like that. It's more like an unreleased b-side of The Resident's 'Animal Lover', except with the vocals and all other interesting parts stripped out.

This has been another installment of 51-word snarks of 6-word reviews of mp3s.

If people want to post faves, Playlist might work. (I'm still listening.)

Oh, after a listen or two, I enjoyed Chip Pope's Ladyboy.

I downloaded all of the five-star songs--I think it was something like 130 or so--and I've been working my way through them. I have the list narrowed down to 41 songs that I really like a lot: here's a screenshot of that list. It's about two and half hours of music.

(I apologize for doing this in the laziest way possible, but I just wasn't up for a massive copy 'n' paste job tonight...)
