you only get one at once? I was assuming this would be fifty news channels all running together at the same time - elvis style. that would be quite good (in an artistic sense). posted by 6am at 4:04 PM on March 19, 2009

I have Real, Quicktime, WindowsMedia, Flash and who knows what else, and still nothing seems to come in on the video screen. posted by Seekerofsplendor at 5:30 PM on March 19, 2009
It uses Flash and WindowsMedia. I discovered the following on their blog:
"The individual locations making up this site control their video feeds locally – and provide news updates to the moderator when significant events happen.
Not all sites stream 24/7, and sometimes equipment failure, connectivity issues, or other problems mean a stream won’t be working at any one time."
So apparently if a particular channel is broadcasting programming other than news or weather, you will get a black screen. posted by netbros at 5:36 PM on March 19, 2009
