The latest drain on public resources: a sausage-pony.

Apparently it is a rare genetic disorder.

I've just noticed that the second pony on the disorder link is wearing trainers.

At least it's not pony sausage.

I always figured ponies would prefer hi-tops. I learned something today.

So this is not a pony whose meat is actually sausage but rather a pony who is shaped, "like a sausage-dog." I am disappointed.

There would have been considerably fewer lulz had the article referred to a "tube-dog" or Dachshund. Tube-pony? Badger-pony? Not as funny.

Don't worry barrett caulk, it was definitely worth reiterating.

Having been told my multiple people that the salami here in Austria is made of ponies, I was expecting something different.

there is nothing that says you couldn't make pony sausage out of a sausage pony. not that would be some serious pomo, meta-cuisine.

*ahem*

'now' that would be . . .

Someone needs to post a MeTa with this pony request.

Someone who's not me, preferably.

Huh, well I guess I now know not to get offended if somebody invites me to come over to see his sausage pony.

"Ridin' the sausage pony" just has to be a euphemism for something.

giraffe - because you have long, slender legs, you wouldn't understand that hi-tops would make little legs look even stumpier. Much like Calvin wears shorts because long pants touch his feet.

recently I was about to purchase some sausages in a bar in sweden, when I looked at the packaging "pig or horse meat"....um I'll not take my chances.

I've held off on it because holding off was the right thing to do but "riding the baloney pony" is a euphemism for sex.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

Alas, it is not made out of sausage.

I almost got fohlenkotelette when I was with my exchange group in Ljubljana, but our group had a horse girl who was already incredibly unpleasant so I decided to give it a pass. I'm definitely going to give it a shot sometime, though.

Well, it's nice that people in that area are so keen on animal welfare, anyway!

There was a nice interview with the Eastleigh animal rescue guy on As It Happens last week. Worth it just to hear him laugh. If you're into that sort of thing...

If they can breed these just a little smaller we'll soon see celebrities carrying them around.
