Adam Savage of "Mythbusters" discusses some more common questions

Adam Savage of the Discover show "Mythbusters" recently did an interview in which he answers questions from some of his fans on reddit.com. Among his favorite websites is Metafilter, reddit, and engadget--just to name a few. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. For the more vain among us, here is a direct link to his mention of metafilter.

This post was deleted for the following reason: We <3 asavage, but "dude mentions Metafilter" would be more of a Metatalk post if anything. -- cortex

Aaah. I just realized deep-linking on youtube videos doesn't work when they're embedded in metafilter's webpage. You can still copy and paste the URL into your browser, though.

Because posting is stressful business. Commenting not so much.

With all due respect... "MeFi's own" Adam is a great guy but can we have a maximum quota for how often Mythbusters posts can be made in a 30 day period or something? Seriously.

Adam's beard is getting a little grey, which is nice, as it makes me feel better about mine.

It's the Discovery Channel.
Or maybe even Discovery. Maybe. Probably not.
But not Discover. That's a credit card and a magazine. Both unaffiliated with the Discovery Channel.

Just sayin'.

I put it in small type just as a little aside. I gots bigger fish to fry today than spending time ruffling feathers by starting a MeTa. Besides, stones hurt when people throw them at you. Even virtual ones.

You're so vain
I'll bet you think this post is about you

"It's the Discovery Channel. "

That's a typo--my bad.

I'd be interested to know what Adam's username is, or if he has one at all. It really makes me wonder if any of us wind up talking to famous/pseudo-famous people on this site without ever really knowing it. Not that fame makes someone any more worth talking to, but for the novelty of it I think it would be pretty cool.

Or you could just click the link

I'd like to disagree with miss lynnster and request that every post on metafilter be about, or at least mention Adam Savage.
