Bacon the Miracle Cure

This post was deleted for the following reason: Like any good Kibologist, I have a nearly paternal love for that Beggin' Strips commerical, but I think we've reached the point where merely being about bacon is not good enough of a reason for a post. -- cortex
Enough with the bacon, seriously. We know you love it, Internet, we really do. But stop with the bacon.

I had some bacon at 10:00 PM the other night, not long before going to bed... just because I craved something fatty and salty. It was delicious.

Bread is high in carbohydrates and bacon is full of protein
...
But also, you need some fat.
So, essentially this article could have been two words long: Eat food.
I hate pseudo-scientific bullshit

A real butcher's will have sides of the stuff and you can get it cut an inch thick if that's what floats your boat.
Also, I may have done this. My boat floated.

I have it on good authority that ultimate cheeseburgers from Jack in the Box also cure hangovers. and bacon and cheddar potato wedges.

A real butcher's has a pig's head in its window, so you can go in and point to it, saying, 'That one! I want its bacon, now!' But yes, most butchers where I grew up knew the difference between a 'rasher' and a 'slice', the latter being about 15 to 20 mm thick (and so disgustingly brilliant to eat in one piece on a breadcake - when it comes to butties, it's the daddy).
As for hangovers, hmmm, I doubt most people need the encouragement to either drink or eat bacon.
