(If the music sounds familiar, it's because Carl Stalling used it several times in the classic Warner Brothers cartoons.) posted by Chocolate Pickle at 8:44 PM on April 19, 2009 [7 favorites]
Damn, Chocolate Pickle's link is FPP worthy by itself, I reckon. Powerhouse is one of those songs I've heard a thousand times but only relatively recently discovered had a live outside of Warner Bros. cartoons and Cartoon Network promos. JHarris: If you like Powerhouse you might also want to check out more of Raymond Scott's music - such as the stuff on this CD. It is kind of appropriate toremember Scott in a thread like this since he was also somebody making music with some seriously unwieldy, custom build technology. posted by rongorongo at 1:57 AM on April 20, 2009 [1 favorite]
Wow, I'm amazed. By the incredible video, but also by the lack of love from metafilter. I don't see anything not to love. posted by JBennett at 7:45 AM on April 20, 2009
My god. That Phish video is frustrating. All that effort and such horrible vocals across the board. I guess I see how others are seeing the FPP video. Diff'rent Strokes. posted by JBennett at 8:01 AM on April 20, 2009
